Welcome to Pack 88

Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 88!

Thank you for considering Pack 88 for the Scouting program for your boy.  We are a whole-family oriented Scouting program offering the full range of Cub Scout experiences, from Tiger Cubs through Webelos II and Arrow of Light.

Here are some handy facts and information about the Pack:

  • Our annual pack dues are $58 for new Scouts and $42 every year after.  There is an additional, optional $12 annual subscription to Boy’s Life Magazine.
  • The dues pay for all the awards and patches the boys receive, as well as for some of our pack activities.
  • Meeting times are typically weekly on Monday or Tuesday evenings from 6:45 pm – 8:00 pm, depending on the Den.  The whole Pack meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.  There are also occasional outings on the weekends.
  • Dens meet at our Charter Organization, First United Methodist Church of Gilbert, on Cooper just north of Warner Rd.  You do not have to be member of the Church to join the Pack; we are an all-denominational Pack.

Cub Scouting Ideals

Colors

The Cub Scout colors are blue and gold. They have special meaning, which will help boys see beyond the fun of Cub Scouting to its ultimate goals.

The blue stands for truth and spirituality, steadfast loyalty, and the sky above. The gold stands for warm sunlight, good cheer, and happiness.
